Saving Workflow Definitions

Saving a workflow definition as an XML-based Workflow Designer File (.wfx) file creates a local copy of the workflow and does not modify the copy on the Workflow Server. Workflow Designer Files can be transported to other Workflow 8 installations.

To save a workflow

  1. Ensure the workflow you want to save is visible in the Workflow Designer.
  2. Select Save, Save As, or Save All under ClosedFile in the menu bar. Selecting Save All will save all workflows that are currently open.
